This roadmap is a brief overview of what your journey through the Instructor Program will look like.
This training course consists of the six modules listed below.
▸ Week One: Knowledge
Knowledge includes exploring the world of evidence based care and demystifying the evidence practice gap
▸ Week Two: Skills
Skills includes creating the ultimate birth team and building your comfort measures toolkit
▸ Week Three: Birth Plans and Advocacy
Birth plans and advocacy includes: Craft birth plans with your client, and advocate with confidence
▸ Week Four: Know your Rights
Know your rights includes: standing firm in your client’s human rights. ( Taught by Cristen Pascucci )
▸ Week Five: Being a Change Agent
Change agent includes: Building courage and confidence as an agent of change
▸ Week Six: Teaching EBB Classes and Quality Control
Take the Quiz to become an Instructor
Upon completing the orientation and 6 week training course, you will be ready to complete the evaluation and take an open-note assessment quiz.
The quiz will consist of approximately 50 items, including multiple choice, select-all-that-apply, fill in the blank, and true or false questions. You will have two open-note attempts to take the quiz. There is no time limit.
Once you have completed all of the steps above, you can call yourself and Evidence Based Birth® Instructor! Now you can implement your training and start making a change in your community by teaching workshops to parents and professionals! We have provided all of the training and materials you will need to confidently teach.
