This roadmap is a brief overview of what your journey through the Instructor Program will look like.
TRAINING
Orientation
Learn how to navigate the site, discuss details about the Instructor agreement and EBB branding, then take a brief quiz.
Modules 1-6
This training course consists of the six modules listed below.
▸ Week One: Knowledge
Knowledge includes exploring the world of evidence based care and demystifying the evidence practice gap
▸ Week Two: Skills
Skills includes creating the ultimate birth team and building your comfort measures toolkit
▸ Week Three: Birth Plans and Advocacy
Birth plans and advocacy includes: Craft birth plans with your client, and advocate with confidence
▸ Week Four: Know your Rights
Know your rights includes: standing firm in your client’s human rights. ( Taught by Cristen Pascucci )
▸ Week Five: Being a Change Agent
Change agent includes: Building courage and confidence as an agent of change
▸ Week Six: Teaching EBB Classes and Quality Control
Take the Quiz to move on to part 2
Upon completing the orientation and 6 week training course, you will be ready to complete the evaluation and take an open-note assessment quiz.
The quiz will consist of approximately 50 items, including multiple choice, select-all-that-apply, fill in the blank, and true or false questions. You will have two open-note attempts to take the quiz. There is no time limit.
